immunology of traditional chinese medicine (tcm) is an important discipline of tcm. based on the unique theory and extensive clinical experiences in tcm, from the perspective of modern immunology research to human health, health care, treatment and prevention methods, also the application of modern immunology and other multi-disciplinary technologies, they have given tcm with new connotation in medical theory and practice. the specialty committee of immunology of traditional chinese medicine (scitcm) aims to strengthen the academic exchange and cooperation in medical research, teaching, health care, manufacturing and other agencies or groups or individuals in the immunology of tcm area from different countries and regions, to promote new discipline, development and application of immunology of tcm.

activities:

• on 28 april 2014, the preparatory meeting of the scitcm of wfcms was successfully held at the zhuhai holiday resort hotel and proposed the nomination criteria and candidate list of president, vice president, secretary general, executive council members, council members, the strategy of member development and the date and theme of the inaugural conference and the first annual meeting.
• on 21~22 november 2014, the pre-meeting and the inaugural conference of the scitcm of wfcms were successfully held at guangzhou easeland hotel. the member of the first council were elected, the first meeting of the first council was held, and the regulation of scitcm was discussed and approved by the first council.
• on 22~23 november 2014, the first academic annual meeting of the scitcm of wfcms were successfully held at guangzhou easeland hotel with 365 participants from 10 countries or districts around the world, including china, germany, canada, thailand, taiwan, hong kong, and macau, of which 108 participants were from overseas. academician zhou hong-hao, academician yao xing-sheng, prof. li zhan-guo, prof. thomas efferth have been invited to give theme speeches with other 10 plenary speeches and 46 invited talks in three parallel sections, i.e.: rheumatism and immunology of chinese medicine, cancer and immunology of chinese medicine, immunology of chinese medicine, immunointervention and innovative drugs of chinese medicine.
• on 3 december 2015, the second meeting of the first council of scitcm of wfcms was successfully held at macau university of science and technology. the 2015 annual report and the proposal of addition of new council member were reported and agreed during the meeting. the venue of the next annual meeting was tentative agreed at germany.
• on 4 december 2015, the second annual meeting of the scitcm of wfcms were successfully held at macau university of science and technology with 241 participants from 4 countries or districts around the world, including china, germany, hong kong, and macau, of which 172 participants were from overseas. five theme speeches in plenary session and 26 invited talks in two parallel sessions, i.e.: basic and clinical research of treatment of rheumatic diseases with chinese medicine and research of immunointervention and innovative drugs of chinese medicine.
• on 7﹣10 august 2016, the third annual meeting of the scitcm of wfcms was successfully held at mainz, germany with over 100 participants from 4 countries or districts around the world, including china, germany, hong kong, and macau. four theme speeches in plenary session and 26 invited talks in two parallel sessions, i.e.: 1) anti-inflammation, immunology and innovative drug research of chinese medicine; and 2) immunointervention and anti-cancer research of chinese medicine, were arranged during the meeting.

• on 2-4 november 2017, the fourth annual meeting of the scitcm of wfcms was successfully held at nanjing, china with nearly 300 participants from 6 countries or districts around the world, including china, usa, germany, singapore, hong kong, and macau. six theme speeches in plenary session and 28 invited talks in two parallel sessions, i.e.: 1) anti-inflammation, immunology and anti-rheumatism research of chinese medicine; and 2) anti-cancer and other research of chinese medicine, were arranged during the meeting.

• on 27 january 2018, prof. zhou hua attended the 2018 presidents meeting of wfcms at beijing. in this meeting, scitcm was proudly awarded the second prize of outstanding award of wfcms.

• on 9~10 november 2018, the 2nd council election of the scitcm of wfcms was successfully held at guangxi wharton international hotel, nanning. the members of the second council were elected and the first meeting of the second council was held.
• on 10-12 november 2018, the fifth annual meeting of the scitcm of wfcms was successfully held at nanning, china with nearly 350 participants from 10 countries or districts around the world, including china, usa, germany, sweden, singapore, protugal, india, hong kong, macau and taiwan. five theme speeches in plenary session and 29 invited talks in two parallel sessions, i.e.: 1) clinical and basic research in the treatment of rheumatism with chinese medicine; and 2) anti-inflammation, anti-cancer and other research of chinese medicine, were arranged during the meeting.
• on 15 november 2019, the second meeting of the second council of scitcm of wfcms was successfully held at tianjin saixiang hotel. the 2019 annual report and the proposal of addition of new council member were reported and agreed during the meeting.
• on 16-17 november 2019, the sixth annual meeting of the scitcm of wfcms was successfully held at nanjin, china with over 300 participants from 8 countries or districts around the world, including china, italy, netherland, korea, usa, singapore, hong kong, macau and taiwan. five theme speeches in plenary session and 25 invited talks in two parallel sessions, i.e.: 1) clinical and basic research in the treatment of rheumatism with chinese medicine; and 2) anti-inflammation, anti-cancer and other research of chinese medicine, were arranged during the meeting.
